Phillip Blanchard
 
          Phillip Blanchard is an editor on the Washington Post financial copy desk. From 1989 through 2000,  he was an editor at the Chicago Sun-Times. Previously he worked at the Times Union of Albany, N.Y., and the Schenectady (N.Y.) Gazette. He has held a number of other jobs, too, but there's no reason to go into them.
       
Blanchard, his wife and son live in Bethesda, Md.
