Justin Schneewind is a senior at Houston Baptist University, where he is editor-in-chief of The Collegian. He also works as a web producer at the Houston Chronicle. He has had internships at Catholic Charities and at the Chronicle.
From his application: “Copy editors must read critically and evaluate information in articles, but they must also ensure perfection in the finished product. Good copy editors consider the larger picture of the story and the cause it serves but also ensure accuracy in regard to finer details such as spelling and grammar.”
