Wanna be a judge?

The 2008 Dog Writers Association of America is looking for judges for its annual writing contest. The contest is held each year to honor those who write about dogs and there are categories for newspaper writing, magazines, broadcast media, internet, and books. This year’s contest will begin this summer with judging taking place in October.
They are looking for writing and editing professionals to judge the contest. Each judge will be provided with judging guidelines and scoring information. There is no payment for these services although they said they do try to provide a small but nice gift as thanks. You can see more about last year’s contest at www.dwaa.org.
Anyone interested in helping can contact Liz Palika at lizpalika@cox.net.
