Your ACES board: What it’s doing, July

The ACES board now has a major change in its makeup, as Merrill Perlman, president of the ACES Education Fund board, joins as an ex-officio, non-voting member in August.

The board made the move to keep the two groups in strong contact. Bill Connolly for years wore both hats. With his stepping down as Ed Fund president, both boards felt that a formal link was needed.

New ideas for reaching out to members, raising revenue, and redefining the organization’s IRS status will continue to be worked on by the board at its August meeting, as well as pinning down a site for the 2012 conference.
